Description
Because I can't use the IPA phonetic alphabet on dA, I wrote out the phonetics for the previous post Here, I hand wrote it and then scanned it in.
Sorry for the smudges, my pretty black ink pen ran out yesterday so I had to use a shitty ballpoint. The extra "/"'s I put in there are there to give you some idea of where stuff is in the actual calligraphy image, I put them in at the end of each "word" which is stopped by a dot in the script.
I'll wait to see if Woofy wants to practise her phonemes for that test that's coming up soon (you don't have to, I just thought Woofy might appreciate the practise :3).. then I'll post up a basic version to be typed out with English characters so you have some idea about how it might sound.
... gods I hope I wrote it out right...
EDIT: translation/transliteration
"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights."
"Bamaan" (all peoples)
"eta / kanaan-a-repa" (at the beginning of their life journey, are of freedom)
"sian" (respect/dignity/social standing - closest word is the Maori word "mana")
"ko" (and/also)
"sheh-sha." (like "rights", but closer to the hindi word "dharma")
"They are endowed with reason and conscience, and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood."
"Bamaan" (all peoples)
"Hceta (possessiveness/possess )
eeset (ability reason/logic/to think beyond instinct)
eemen" (ability to feel/have empathy for others/compassion)
"asa" (therefore)
"eebena-a-eebana" (each person reflected in each other - meaning they are the same and can/do recognise this sameness)
"apaat" (manner/behaviour - meaning this knowledge manifests in behaviour)
